I had amazing customer service today from Safiya who was doing my contact lenses fitting - I was a little bit anxious and not great at it but she has been amazingly patient and understanding. Also great at explaining and giving tips! I am a successful contact lens wearer now thanks to her! Thanks so much Safiya :)

Amazing experience, all the staff were kind, professional, and experienced. Shivalee (apologies if I’ve spelled the name incorrectly) was especially experienced. She was so kind and reassuring throughout my daughter's appointment. Highly recommend this place!

Such a dangerous entrance door where customers expected to close the heavy door -nearly lost my fingers trying yo do this….staff didn’t seem too bothered about this or to put an interim solution…

I was looked after in a professional way and staff was always available to answer my questions and to give information during my contact lenses check. Also, they were kind and responsive at all time.

I bought a pair of Advance hearing aids from Specsavers Liverpool Street for £1,000, the cheapest option I could afford and sadly the experience has been a disappointment from start to finish. At my initial appointment, the audiologist showed me the travel charger and I reasonably assumed it was part of the package. When I collected the hearing aids a week later, only the standard plug charger was included. I queried this, she looked embarrassed and said yes, I could have the travel charger. I raised it again at a follow-up visit and received no response. Things went from bad to worse when my left hearing aid stopped working. Getting a replacement appointment took nearly a month. On the day, my usual audiologist had left, no one had thought to let me know but the locum was efficient and located both the replacement hearing aid and the travel charger. He then told me, for the first time, that the travel charger costs £250 versus £150 for the standard one, and initially said I had to pay £250. He then checked with Specsavers and offered it to me for the £100 difference as a goodwill gesture. The problem is that no one had ever mentioned a price difference. The audiologist had simply said I could have it, no caveats, no conditions. I also happen to know that the Connexx travel charger retails online for around £146, which makes the figures presented to me feel even less straightforward. I declined the offer. Perhaps some would have accepted it and moved on, but I felt the commitment had been made and should have been honoured. A faulty product, missed promises, poor communication, and an unexpected charge. I had hoped for better. ============================================ 12/05/26: 1800 hrs. Ref to your response below: Thank you for your response, though I note it appears to be a standard reply used for all negative reviews rather than an engagement with the specific issues I raised. I do not use Facebook, Instagram, or X, so directing me to those platforms is not a practical option. If Specsavers is genuinely interested in resolving this, I would ask that you provide a direct email address to which I can write. You should also note that your telephone system has proven equally unhelpful. On multiple occasions I was told I was first in the queue and that Specsavers would call me back as my number had been recorded. I am still waiting for any of those calls to be returned. I am happy to engage with your team to resolve this matter, but I need a proper channel to do so.
